Fractional controller

Month-end close, reconciliations, and a package you can hand to a lender.

The discipline of an in-house controller at a fixed monthly fee. Your revenue sets the package and its included hours; the usage statement shows where they went; at 80% you hear from us in writing.

Each month

What a controller adds to a bookkeeper.

A bookkeeper posts transactions. A controller makes sure they add up to something true: accounts reconciled, cut-off respected, the balance sheet supported, and the result explained in plain language. That is the work, month after month, on a calendar you can plan around.

In a trades business

The close includes the field app. Exports from ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro, Jobber, Buildertrend, Knowify and Tekmetric are reconciled to QuickBooks or Xero, so revenue is counted once and each job carries its labour at the burdened rate. With the Job costing / WIP schedule (construction) add-on ($750/mo), a monthly WIP schedule and the retainage receivable come with the package.

Trades and field service

In an e-commerce brand

The close includes the channels. Payouts and settlements run through a clearing account per gateway, fees land in their own lines, and inventory is rolled forward at landed cost. With the settlement reconciliation add-on ($600/mo), every settlement is tied to the bank before the package goes out.

Systems: Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, A2X, Link My Books, Cin7, ShipBob, TaxJar and Avalara.

Intro and upgrade

Controller Essentials, then Controller + Cash.

The intro package keeps the close honest. The upgrade adds the monthly balance-sheet work and the cash view a lender asks for. These are the rows that change.
